Don't you just hate going to a big store, to try to find something for a Christmas or Birthday present, just to find out they are out of the item? And if you do find the item, you have to stand in line for what seems like hours...
When I found AMAZON.com, I found online shopping that is both organized and convenient! The task of looking for gifts from a reputable company just got easier as AMAZON.com is now associated with leading companies such as BabiesRUs, ToysRUs, Marshell Fields, Office Depot, and Target.
AMAZON.com has all their products to be purchased broken down in tabs (kind of like looking for a specific store within a mall) such as Books, Apparel, Electronics, Toys & Games, DVD's and Videos, Health, and Home and Garden.
THE SHIPPING: AMAZON.com is Great! I have never had a problem with them in this area. I have always received my orders, mostly ToysRUs Items, within a weeks time.
HISTORY: Did you forget what you ordered when and for whom? This is not a problem with AMAZON.com. Just go to Your Account Info, click on Where's My Stuff, and you can look at order information for any order you have placed with AMAZON.com!
PROBLEM: One item in one of my orders was for a Christmas present for my son. After my husband and I opened it we realized The Home Depot Set had a piece missing. I immediately got online with the returns center, notified them a piece was missing and that it was a Christmas present for a toddler, and they immediately sent us out a new one. As soon as we got the new item, we took the missing piece out of the new box and then sent the second package back to Amazon.com with it marked as "piece missing."
PAYMENT: I used my Discover Card, as I get rebates back for using it, however for the fastest way to get your AMAZON.com online orders you can also use American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, Visa, and Amazon.com gift certificates.
SAVE MONEY: For extra savings, if you don't mind used items, check out Amazon.com Auctions for items such as CDs, refurbished computers, and books.
FAST SHOPPING: Repeat shoppers will love the fast shopping they can do AMAZON.com. I love this! Each time I go to AMAZON.com, I simply put in my email and password, shop, then I can click to use previously entered information such as Credit Card Info and Delivery Address. With two kids, not having to enter in the same information over and over is a life saver.
One feature I have yet to find a use for is the daily GOLD BOX offers I get! I have never seen anything in there that I already wanted or needed so it always ends up being a waste of my time to even look at it.
AMAZON has three shopping features, one is to put the item into a "Wish List", second is the "Shopping Cart" to buy it now, and the third option is for the items you want that are currently out of stock, just add them to "Saved Items, To Buy Later" and Amazon.com will email you when the item is available.
Since AMAZON.com has a lot of features and extras I have not used as of yet, I will update again as I use other features.
