I have dealt with Booksamillion.com many times in the past and have always had a good experience with them. I had a book on my Christmas list this year. I got an email from Booksamillion.com stating that for 2 days only I would have free shipping on an order of any size. That was all I needed to get me back to the site for another order. I thought I would save my husband a trip fighting the crowds to look for my book.
When you go to the site you can do a search for an item by Author, Key Word, Subject or ISBN. They list the retail price along with their price and the club price. They also let you know if the item is in stock and how long it should take to ship.
You just click on "buy it now" and the item will be put in your shopping cart. When you are done shopping the checkout is very easy. It will guide you through the process. You can items sent to your address or if you prefer to a friend.
The site has a huge variety of books. They offer them in different forms such as: hardback, paperback, large print or audio.
Disount card:
They sell a discount card for $10 that is good for one year. It gives you a 10% discount on any items that you order online or in a retail store.
Book Preview Club:
At the site you can sign up for their free book preview club. You register your email address and you will get emails with a portion of a book sent to you. This gives you an idea if you would like to read the whole book or not before you spend your money. They have different preview book clubs you can sign up for: Nonfiction, Horror, Sci-Fi, Mystery, Pre-Pub, Romance, Business, Fiction, Audio and Christian.
Personal Shopper Program:
If you need help picking out a gift you can let their personal shopper give you a hand. Email personalshopper@booksamillion.com with the interests of the person you are shopping for and the price range you want to spend. They will then send your their recommendations.
Gift Wrap:
You can have a personal note sent with any package for no additional cost. You can have items gift wrapped at a charge of $2 per item.
Gift Certificates:
You can order gift certificates on any amount from $1-$1,000. You can have these delivered through email or a paper version through the mail.

My Final Thoughts:
I have dealt with this company for several years and have never had a bad experience. My most recent order I placed on December 13, 2003. The order was shipped on December 15, 2003 and it was delivered to me on December 17, 2003. I think that the time it took to get to me was excellent. I was especially glad to get free shipping. Once you order from them you can have them email you specials so that when they do offer things like free shipping on all orders you will know.
I like the fact that they give you free shipping on any order that is $25 or more. This has been an ongoing thing. Many companies have a set amount of $50 or more. I am really happy about Booksamillion.com picking a low amount like $25 to reward their customers with free shipping.
The site is easy to use. I like that there is a variety of ways to look up a product. So you can go there knowing just the title or author or even part of the title and still find what you are needing.
Booksamillion.com is a dependable company that I don't hesitate in recommending to you. I wish they sold CDs and movies as well. The site is primarily all books with the very small section of Christian items.
