Pros: Lotsa features and toys! Low price. Cons: Engine noise. Poor offset crash ratings. Daewoo went bankrupt! The Bottom Line: The Leganza is a fresh face, and offers a lot of "little things" for the money.... just not enough big things... (like a non-bankrupt company, for one)
It's tough being the new kid. For Daewoo, it's more than just being a new face at school. The automotive industry is a far more vicious and unforgiving place: not only do you want to be accepted, but you want to rise to the top as the most popular...

Pros: Luxury+, quality stereo, trunk space, full-size spare, gas mileage, interior room, smooth ride, rebate! Cons: Hmm, let me think .... ok, the leather seats could be softer. The Bottom Line: I rate the Daewoo Leganza CDX 2000 a 9+.
Some of you may have read my rave review of the 1999 Daewoo Leganza CDX, entitled "Leganza Soul". Well, as stated there, my car was totaled on Jan 27, '01 by a drunk driver.
However, impressed with both the performance and protection of my...

Pros: Value, Reliability, Great Looks, Features, Paint, Suspension, Stereo System Cons: Not well known, no 6 cyl
Ok, I didn't ever think I would be writing a opinion about a product that I purchased. However, after my purchase of my 2000 Leganza CDX, I must let people know what a great car it is, so that everyone goes out and gets one a great deal before Ford ups...

Pros: Good looks, great price, great ride, good handling Cons: Controls for sound system, a/c and cruise control could be rethought
My partner and I have been in the San Francisco area for a little over a year. We came with one car. Luckily, we both work at the same place, but the one-car thing has gotten old, so on a whim I decided to get him a new car for his birthday. But it...

Pros: OUTSTANDING value..for all the features. 28.5 mpg Cons: Lousy AM RADIO. Dealerships are CLOSING DOWN RAPIDLY. The Bottom Line: The CAR with the funny name and COOL GRILL merits your consideration. I TRUST GM to SAVE this marque vehicle!!
ITS NOW April 2001...if you look at my JULY REVIEW (2000).. I/WE are still insanely thrilled with out Leganza... After nearly a year of ownership (14,800 Miles).. I can safely say.. you can buy this vehicle with confidence.. I was given outstanding...

Pros: Feature rich - great value; Well designed; Cons: Small cup-holders
I gave up my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a Leganza. I couldn't be more pleased - except if the cup holders were bigger. That is my ONLY gripe. I have put 15,000 miles on it since 12/99. There's not been one rattle, squeak or noted imperfection....

Pros: affordable, sporty Cons: they should make SUV's similar to the good ole Suzuki Sidekick!
If you're looking for a luxurious automobile at a comfortable price, then the 2000 Daewoo Leganza certainly is a wise buy. For roughly $15000, my wife got her Leganza, loaded with toys.
How can one pass up this vehicle? It's got the air for...

Pros: value, class, options, price, different, looks Cons: engine power, long term reliability??, cruise buttons
We studied all cars on the net for about 3 months and this car is by far the best car for the money. It has features that you usually find on cars costing 30k, but on the CDX they are standard. For instance; sunroof, 6-disk cd player, leather, wood...

Pros: it's cheap Cons: it's cheap
I just returned from a trip to Shreveport, LA, during which my rental car was a 2000 Leganza. The car was fairly comparably equipped to my 1993 Nissan Maxima (leather, cd stereo, power, etc). But even though the Leganza was seven years newer and 80,000...

Pros: Great gas mileage, reliability. Cons: nothing to complain about versus price paid The Bottom Line: This has been a smart decision for us needed a reliable vehicle and this has been good to us
Alright I'm not a big writer so I just wanted to write key points about my 2000 Leganza after owning it since Jan'01. The ride is really nice I think it was given unfair reviews when it was initially released. It has been highly reliable since we ...

Pros: price, style, features, comfort Cons: name recognition, established dependability record, crash test (yikes)
I purchased my Leganza on 7/4/2000 and was very impressed from the first moment that I set my eyes on it. I stopped by the dealership on a whim, I had just got done looking at a new Saturn and a Honda. On previous cars that I owned there were always...

Pros: Styling, Comfort, Stereo(CDX w/equalizer), steering(CDX) Cons: SE & SX versions, confusing equalizer
I am an employee with Thrifty Car rental an we have had our Daewoo Leganzas for a while now. At first look on the exterior it is a pretty sharp car and the paint holds up on them really well. None of them have faded or shown too much damage even for...

Pros: comfortable, luxurious and affordable! Cons: Why does one spend more time at work than in his or her car?
Two days ago, when I pulled up along aside the curb in front of my house after work, I looked into my driveway. There sat a gorgeous black Daewoo Leganza. My mom had traded in her Mitsubishi Galant and bought a new car last Friday and kept it a secret....

Pros: Luxury everywhere, quiet, smooth ride, great warranty, European styling Cons: Not enough dealers, yet.
I bought my 2000 Leganza CDX in May, and couldn't be more thrilled. I got a loaner (a great deal) and the car has no squeaks, leaks or any other problems. The engine is smoother and quieter than the Accord and Sonata I test drove.
The CD...
