I had very specific needs when purchasing a new laptop, this year. I can certainly be considered a laptop newbie, but have been using a computer at work for years so am pretty savvy with all MS programs. I expected that there would be an adjustment period between the two platforms, but I breezed right through and quickly adjusted.
If you are the creative type, wanting built-in programs for photos, website builder, music/studio recording, movie editing... this mac has it all. Tutorials are good, but the mac discussion groups have all the answers! Those forums can help you through ANYTHING.
