World-Class Service makes you feel like a V.I.P.

My company uses AMEX Business Travel Center to book all of our company travel, and I am very impressed. The service was wonderful, and the staff are extremely Knowledgeable in the field. They always have destination information and maps included in my ticket pack, and I have always had a positive experience with them.

Not just bad service -- no service!!!

We have been trying to give 1/2 million dollars worth of business to American Express Travel for 3 months now! We have had to badger them just to get a conference call explaining their services. When we asked if our representative (business development manager) could come and do a presentation to the top dogs - she said "we don't do in person presentations". Funny how every time I call she is out of town. Where? I thought they just did conference calls? Then we waited for another 2 weeks for an email with the information we talked about over the phone (which was supposed to come that day) - oh and don't think it came easily, only after 3 or 4 messages requesting it again. What is the deal!? Have they gotten so big that they don't need the money anymore? There is no doubt that they are lacking in competition - but come on!
