Pros: Price, Performance, Handling, Asthetics, Build Quality. Cons: Sits low to ground. Especially with ground effects and long overhangs. Beware of speed bumps.
I just purchased a leftover 2004 Ralliart sedan on Feb.1, 2005. Sticker price was $20,072. I paid $15,500 OTD. Here are my initial impressions after several days. The engine and transmission in this car are amazing. The MIVEC engine has a very smooth, ...
Pros: Willing and refined engine, smooth, quiet and comfortable ride Cons: Frumpy styling and flacid handling
This is a review of the 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES, with automatic transmission. I recently had this car as a rental for a four day trip, during which time I put close to 1,000 miles on the odometer. My personal car, a 2003 Mazda Protege, was a direct ...
Pros: Superb handling, best in class power, interesting short-throw transmission, lots of goodies Cons: Less than impressive dealer network, mediocre stock radio, expensive sound system upgrade
This car is the most agile and powerful one might ever buy with such a small amount of money. Only the stock tires and some finishing touches hints to it's lineage of bland sedans. The Lancer RalliArt clearly has inherited a racing soul from the sports ...
Pros: Remarkable performance, superb steering, handling, and shifter, exciting demeanor, solid feel, balanced package. Cons: Unexceptional interior, undistinguished looks, some may dislike ride stiffness and prominent exhaust note.
My Experience I test-drove a Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart at a local dealership. My test drive lasted about half an hour and covered city streets and the freeway. Performance The Ralliart's 2.4-liter engine is one of the car's ...
Pros: low-end is good for a 4cylinder, handling, stereo, brakes, shifter, LOOKS - People love it Cons: None so far.
I just purchased a 2004 Lancer Ralliart one week ago, and man is this car sweet. It beats every other car in its class (SUBARU 2.5 RS, NISSAN SE-R SPEC-V, FORD FOCUS SVT, MAZDA 3S) from 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile, despite it having the lowest amount of ...
Pros: Handling, performance, value, warranty, comfort, quality, uniqueness etc. etc. etc. Cons: None! Wake up and Drive!
The RalliArt Sportback gives a new bullseye to the competitors in this market segment. Anyone like I was who is looking for a sporty vehicle with good handling, spirited acceleration and the ability to carry both people and gear should definitely look at ...
Pros: 8" Subwoofer with the 'Sun and Sound' package, economical, somewhat sporty. Cons: Doesn't adaquately compare to the Mazda3.
* On a note, I am in Canada. Keep the prices in mind, as they are in Canadian currency. I began to shop for an affordable, economical and sporty vehicle. My search had taken long past the land of Chevrolet and Saturn, past the reach of Toyota and ...
Pros: Quicker than you might think acceleration
Fun Factor
Price
Quiet if not pushed
Suspension Cons: Shifter feel
Rims could be upgraded
Top end engine noise
Stiff suspension
Let me get right to point, at first the car that I was looking for was a cheap, small car for me and my wife to basically just get to work. Good on gas, decent room and the easier to drive the better. Enter the OZ Lancer. I'll admit it, I HATED this car ...
Pros: Steering and shifter feel, front seats, chassis, engine power and smoothness Cons: Blah styling, tight rear seat, ride quality if you expect to not feel the road
Ive never driven a Mitsubishi I liked. Until now. For 2004 Mitsubishi has refreshed the styling of the Lancer, its smallest car, add a Sportback wagon, and added a new Ralliart version of both the sedan and this wagon. Instead of the ...
Ralliart, the answer for anyone by royboy789,Jul 12 '06
Pros: Handling, Power, comfort, great transmission feel, stopping power, an excellent all-arounder. Cons: radio lags with "New Age" feel, hard to complain!
Great car, no problems.
Power of a sports sedan
Handling like a sports car.
Convenience of a station wagon.
I've had 9 cars, this is by far the BEST one I have ever owned, and love it everyday i see it.
Pros: Car looks great tint the windows and away ya go. Cons: Always at dealer getting work done,if the warranty's up your paying out the butt
Body looks sleek and stylish but hit a bird and your bumper will fall apart. Too many plastic little clips holding inner fenders and bumpers on so things get loose in a hurry. I think even the wind knocks pulls the front apart, Mitsu should have spent the money and used some bolts.
Lancer ES improved but still not ideal for small car buyer by coolcanadian,Feb 07 '04
Pros: Styling Interior!!, Interior features. Cons: toyota, nissan ect. better fuel-enconamy, horsepower, comfort, price tag and reliability.
About a month ago I test drove the new 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. It was an Ok Car but it lacked in peppyness. The OZ has more horsepower, but also has an increased price tag, something most people arn't interseted in. The 1 thing I can say was good about the Mitsubishi was its interior design, however the comfort was something to be desired by shorter people. The headrests only fit people taller the 5 feet 4 inches, and lets face it, lots of us out there aren't tall!
